Reynard Phillips

Reynard Phillips, 92, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 19, 2017, at Oxford Health and Rehab. He was a member of Mt. Gilead CME Church in Holly Springs, a member of the Masonic Lodge, the trustee board, choir and usher board of Mt. Gilead. He was a retired farmer.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Chulahoma MB Church in Holly Springs with Rev. S.A. Phillips officiating. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Darnie Fitts Phillips; five daughters, Bernie Mae Giddings of University Park, Ill., Patricia Phillips of Aurora, Ill., Mary Oliver of Senatobia, Jean M. Phillips, Theresia Phillips, both of Chulahoma; five sons, Lloyd Phillips of Law Vegas, Nev., George Wayne Phillips of Coldwater, Rickey Phillips of Memphis, Tenn., Donald Phillips of Dalton, Ill., Cardell Phillips of Coldwater; a brother, Adell Phillips of Chulahoma; 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Phillips.
