Rev. Theodoric Stephen

Rev. Theodoric Stephen, 58, of Slayden, died Nov. 19, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Hudsonville CME Church and pastor of St. Paul CME Church in Walls. He was retired from Carrier Inc. in Collierville, Tenn.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 26 at Hudsonville CME Church. Rev. Bobby G. Wilson, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Ruthie Sumlar Stephen; daughters, Latoya Johnson of Olive Branch, Trinity Stephen of Slayden; son, Theodoric L. Stephen of Slayden; mother, Fannie Jones Stephen of Slayden; brothers, Charles Ray Brown of Robinsonville, Rev. Michael Stephen, Olando Stephen, both of Slayden, Lorrenzo Stephen of Mt. Pleasant; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thearchie Stephen.
