Retha S. Williams

Retha S. Williams, 79, of Holly Springs, died November 6, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church, where she served on the usher board. She was a retired security officer at Wackenhut Corporation.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 21 from 1-5:30 p.m. And on Nov. 22 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 9-9:55 a.m. With services at 10 a.m. Rev. James Green will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a son, Kent Williams of Memphis; sister, Lacie Williams Pryor of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Williams; siblings, Luceal Williams Malone, F.L. Williams and Elree Williams.
