Ressie B. “Red” Walls

Ressie B. “Red” Walls, 81, of Moscow, Tenn., died Oct. 18, 2018, at the home of her daughter. She was a member of New Bethel MB Church in Moscow. The widow of Sidney Walls, she was a member of the Mother’s Board and the mass choir.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 27 at Jones Chapel MB Church in Grand Junction, Tenn. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pastor Michael Rhyan officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral  Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves three sons, Larry Harvey (Linda), Tony Walls, Kelvin Walls (Tracee); three daughters, Bonita Walls, Kendra Holmes (Elton), Forrest Nelson (John); two sisters, Dr. Loretta Wade (Luther), Carolyn O’Neal; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Carlton Walls, a brother, Gordon Anderson, and a sister, Forrestine Cherry.
