Rebecca Sue Darnell

Rebecca Sue Darnell, 70, of Red Banks, died Jan. 16, 2017, in Red Banks. The widow of Danny Darnell Sr., she was a Baptist and a retired clerk.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 17 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Pastor Brad officiated.

She leaves a son, Danny Darnell Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters, Dana Watkins (Richard) of Red Banks, Melissa Darnell (Paul Anderson) of Mt. Pleasant, Nicole Siler (Ronnie) of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Billy Perkins of Byhalia, Dale Perkins of Arlington, Tenn.; three sisters, Rosalie Stewart, Linda Creddle, Barbara Phelps; all of Byhalia; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Malcom Perkins.
