Rayford C. Moffitt

Rayford C. Moffitt, 65, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Byhalia, died Dec. 25, 2020. He worked for 18 years at Carrier Corporation, and retired after 15 years with Caesars Entertainment in Pompano Beach.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2021, at Hearn Grove MB Church Cemetery in Byhalia. Pastor Archie Bowen officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Jeanette Moffitt; four sons, Christopher McMahon of Memphis, Tenn., Shundre Martin (Tamika) of Jacksonville, Fla., Rarecias Martin (Quneisha) of Holly Springs, Brandon Moffitt of Memphis; two daughters, Sherrie Martin of Olive Branch, Lakeda Vixon of Memphis; three sisters, Peggy Shannon, Velma Jones (Benjamin), Mary Cunningham (Darrell); and 26 grandchildren.
