Queen Ester Reaves Yancey

Queen Ester Reaves Yancey, 80, of Ashland, died November 4, 2023, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was a member of St. Luke Church of God in Christ where she served as a church usher. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 17 from 3-5:30 p.m. and on Nov. 18 at St. Luke Church of God in Christ from 10-10:55 a.m with services at 11 a.m. Elder Nathaniel Holleman Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Deborah Denise Evans of Corinth; sons; Rickey Yancey of Ashland, James Yancey Jr. of Tiplersville, Joe Willie Yancey of Ashland, Cluster Yancey of New Albany, Sammy Yancey of Corinth, Charles Edward Yancey of Ashland, Jimmy Lewis Yancey of Ashland, Ray Lee Yancey of Corinth, and Maurice Bernard Yancey of Ashland.
