Prentiss Tate Sr., 70, of Coldwater, died May 28, 2025, in Oxford.
Services were held at West Looxahoma Church of Christ on June 8 at 2 p.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a daughter, Tristan Tate-McClatchey of Holly Springs; son, Prentiss Tate Jr. of Walls; sisters, Jessie Jones of Como, Dorothy Starks of Olive Branch, Inez Mitchell of Horn Lake; brothers, Willie Reed of Southaven, Kenny Reed of Batesville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
