Pierre LeMarcus Plaxico

Pierre LeMarcus Plaxico, 69, of Waterford, died January 30, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Mt. Teamer CME Church and a self-employed handyman.

Visitation will be held J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 8 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and on Feb. 9 at Mt. Teamer CME Church from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Lexine Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his sisters, Ktherenia Walker of Waterford, Rochelle Plaxico of Tinley Park, Ill., Edekia Nalls of Chicago, Ill., Dr. Irma Plaxico of Matteson, Ill., Sharon Brooks of Atlanta, Ga., Kerma Knox of Hemit, Calif.; brothers, Chester Plaxico of Chicago, Frozay Plaxico of Hungary, Olive "JoJo" Echols, and Michael Curry, both of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Louise Deloris Plaxico; siblings, Kenneth Jarrett, Howard Jarrett Jr. and Raphael Plaxico.
