Phyllis Denise Sellers Evans

Phyllis Denise Sellers Evans, 62, of Holly Springs, died October 27, 2021, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Zion CME Church in Ashland where she served as a church usher and was a choir member. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 4 from 3-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 5 at Mt. Zion CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Sammy White will officiate.

She leaves a daughter, Angela Zinn of Holly Springs; two sons, LeeAndrew Zinn of Olive Branch, Andre Zinn of Villa Rica, Ga.; father, Arthur Lee Sellers Sr. of Holly Springs; four sisters, Linda Sellers of Southaven, Jacqueline Hampton of Holly Springs, Gwendolyn Sellers of Lamar, Patricia Howell Malone of Olive Branch; three brothers, Arthur "Bo" Sellers Jr. of Holly Springs, Jasper "Randy" Howell of Huntsville, Ala., Willie Howell of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ridy Frances Sellers and a brother, Sammie Mitchell.
