Phil Malone, 66, of Byhalia, died January 20, 2026. He was a member of Byhalia First United Methodist Church where he served on numerous committees and was a lay leader. He was the former Byhalia Mayor, member of Byhalia Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, and served on the Farm Bureau Insurance Board and IDA committee.
A celebration of life was held at The Flame of Byhalia Church on Jan. 23 from 10-12 p.m. with services following. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Donna Malone; daughters, Mandy Black (Jason), Molly Gates (Casey); sister, Julia DeBardeleben (Rick); and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leamon and Rhea Malone.
