Peter C. Buffinton

Peter C. Buffinton, 59, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 25, 2020, at his home. He was employed at Rappa Construction.

Graveside services were held at 12 noon on Jan. 3, 2021, at Miller's Cemetery in Olive Branch. Pastor Jermarcuis LeSure officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Lajettie Nicole Pegues; eight brothers, Robert Faulkner (Mary) of Rossville, Tenn., James Faulkner of Byhalia, Frederick Buffinton (Joyce) of Memphis, Tenn.; Lee Pegues Jr. (Cedera) of Holly Springs, Larry Pegues of Byhalia, Eric Pegues (Teise) of Memphis, Tymon Pegues of Holly Springs, Gary Pegues (Nikki) of Florence, Ala; six sisters, Josephine Bogard, Ella Dortch, Earnestine Pegues, Julie Thomas (Billy Ray), Layeunice Thomas (Rickey), all of Holly Springs, Elaine Pye (Doug) of Byhalia; a special friend, Kim Williams; and three grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by a son, Lil Peter Jr.; his parents Lee Matthew Pegues Sr. and Ruby Lee Faulkner Pegues; brothers, Bobby, Juil, Rozell, James and Otis Pegues; two sisters, Ruby and Iolla.
