Percy Coleman

Percy Coleman, 75, of Lamar, died Jan. 1, 2017, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Services were held Jan. 7 at Royal Chapel CME Church in Byhalia with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Johnnie Wilson officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves five sons, Melvin Coleman (Marcia), Maurice Anderson (Schwana) Victor Anderson (Iris) all of Memphis, Michael Coleman of Cayce, Phillip Anderson (Alicia) of Olive Branch; a stepson, Isaac Bryant (Annie); two daughters, Wanda Jordan (Jimmie) of Lamar, Tracy Gray of Memphis; eight brothers, Jesse Coleman (Luvena), Sammie Coleman (Lorece), John Saulter, Jerome Coleman, all of Memphis, Henry Coleman, Napoleon Coleman (Marilyn), Robert Norfleet, of Byhalia, Eddie Earl Norfleet of Red Banks; five sisters, Frazell Spiller of Fayette County, Tenn., Paula Walker, Patricia Walker, Mae Billingsley, Loretta Saulter, all of Memphis; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
