Percie V. Anderson Smith

Percie V. Anderson Smith, 78, of Holly Springs, formerly of Las Vegas, Nev., died July 14, 2026, at her home. She was a member of Jones Grove MB Church and an interior decorator for J.C. Penney.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 24 from 10 a.m. Until 3 p.m., at Jones Grove MB Church from 4-6 p.m. And on July 25 from 2:30-3:25p.m. With services at 3:30 p.m. Pastor J.W. Terry Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Beverly Chapel CME Church Cemetery.

She leaves a son, Tyrone Moore Smith (Kinmaria) of Holly Springs; sisters, Bobbie Mitchell of Holly Springs, Azle Jones of Memphis, Tenn., Gwendolyn Jones, Zelma Smith Wiley, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Joe Smith of Chicago, Ill., Rev. Robert Smith of Holly Springs, Monroe Smith of Chicago; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Anderson; siblings, Willie Smith and John Smith.
