Peggy Ferris Thompson, 87, of Hickory Flat, died March 17, 2020, at her home. She was a Baptist and a caregiver in the community for over 25 years.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on March 21 at the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. Bro. Doc Shelton officiated. Burial was in Flat Rock Cemetery in Benton County.
She leaves a son, Tommy Calvin Elliott (Judy) of Ripley; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Clyde Thompson; three sons, Jimmy, Dennis Ray and Eugene Elliott; a brother, David West Jr.; and Marion Elliott, the father of her children.
