Peggy Anglin Billingsley

Peggy Anglin Billingsley, 82, of Slayden, died March 23, 2020, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation. The widow of Melvin Billingsley, she was a member of Slayden Baptist Church. She worked with children for 35 years at Union Avenue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn., and at Slayden Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on March 26 at Green Leaf Cemetery in Independence. Bro. Joe Strahan officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her sisters-in-law Elizabeth Tomlin (Glen) and Shirley Davis of Harmontown; a brother-in-law, B.B. Billingsley (Carolyn) of Coffeeville.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Billingsley; four sisters and three brothers.
