Pearlie Mae Jordan Thompson-Howell

Pearlie Mae Jordan Thompson-Howell, 92, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 28, 2020, at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Hill CME Church in Mt. Pleasant where she served on the stewardess board; and a former member of Strawberry MB Church where she served on the mothers' board. She worked in private homes as a caregiver.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 4 from 4-7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 5 at Pleasant Hill CME Church Cemetery. Pastor Willie Mays will officiate.

She leaves three sons, Jessie Thompson, Steven Thompson, both of Holly Springs, Curtis Thompson of Memphis, Tenn.; two stepchildren, Helen Howell of Ashland, Rosie Howell of Southaven; three sisters, Helen Hunt, Emma Williams, both of Chicago, Ill., Carolyn Cook of Cordova, Tenn.; two brothers, Rev. Earnest Jordan of Olive Branch, John Jordan of Memphis; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and several great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouses, Mack Willie Thompson and Monroe "Dan" Howell; and a daughter, Gloria Woods Williams.
