Pearlie Mae Honer

Pearlie Mae Honer, 60, of Byhalia, died Oct. 2, 2018, at her home. A former factory worker at Clevite, she was a Sunday school  teacher, assistant church treasurer and a member of the kitchen committee.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 13 at Berachah Ministries in Mt. Pleasant, where she was a member. Burial was in Pleasant Grove MB Church Cemetery. Prophet Jeremy Griffin officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two children, Tan S. Honer Johnson, Tarhonda Lindsay, both of Olive Branch; a sister, Linzora Honer of Pontiac, Mich.; two brothers, Clyde Honer of Byhalia, and Earnest Honer of Red Banks; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Honer Jr., Robert Honer, and Willie Hughes.
