Pearlie Jean Kimbrough Scruggs

Pearlie Jean Kimbrough Scruggs, 74, of Holly Springs, died May 7, 2022. She was a member of Hopewell No. 2 MB Church.

Services were held at 12 p.m. On May 15 at Holly Springs Multi-Purpose Building. Serenity Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Jefferson City Cemetery in Lamar.

She leaves her daughters, Helen Hoyle (Freddie), Linda, Wilma and Sonja Scruggs, all of Corinth; sons, Danny Scruggs (Retha) of Lamar, Charles Kimbrough, James Scruggs (Sheila) of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Verlean Thompson (Beauford), Caroline Cogbill, Delois and Dorothy Kimbrough, both of Memphis; brothers, David, Ronald, Nathaniel, Lesley and Stanley Kimbrough, all of Memphis; 27 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Janice and Rita Scruggs; great-grandson, Quency Scruggs; sisters, Mary Evans and Margie J. Elsberry; and brother, James E. Kimbrough.
