
Ozell Taylor
Ozell Taylor, 91, of Holly Springs, died April 13, 2026, at his home. He was a member of Taylor's Chapel UM Church and Asbury UM Church where he served on the trustee board, church van driver and member of United Methodist Men. He was retired from Kalman Flooring Company Inc.
Services were held at Asbury UM Church on April 18 at 11 a.m. Rev. Zachery Beasley officiated. Burial was in Taylor Chapel Church Cemetery in Victoria. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Earnestine Jones Taylor; daughters, Patricia Washington of Oak Leaf, Texas, Lisa Higgenbottom, Calandra Wilson, both of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Kathyel Sims of Holly Springs, Rosetta Abram of Southaven, Dorothy Matthews of Memphis, Kathleen Jamison of Olive Branch, Annie Mae Richmond of San Jose, Calif., Delores Beck of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Easter Jean Ivory, Joyce Epps, James Earl Faulkner, Calvin Faulkner, Robert Faulkner, Claude Faulkner, Leory Faulkner, Alfred Faulkner, Tony Faulkner, Robert Richmond, Willie Gray Richmond and Sylvester Taylor.
