Otis Robert McKenzie Jr.

Otis Robert McKenzie Jr., 73, of Memphis, Tenn., died April 9, 2019, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis. He was a retired security guard with Nike and attended Good Hope MB Church in Ashland.

Visitation will be held on April 19 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home and on April 20 from 9 a.m.-9:55 a.m. at Miracle Temple Salt & Light Ministries in Lamar. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Bishop L.T. Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh MB Church Cemetery in Ashland.

He leaves his wife, Charlie L. Cole McKenzie; a daughter, Teresa Adams of Memphis; a son, Rodney McKenzie of Memphis; two sisters, Brenda Mayers and Julie Smith, both of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Frank Harvey, Oneal Jeffries and Ronald Jeffries, all of Chicago; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Lawrence Terry, Michael Jeffries, Claude McKenzie, Ike Jeffries, Estelle Westmoreland, and Art Jeffries.
