Orlando Craig Dortch

Orlando Craig Dortch, 54, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Lamar, died December 22, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tenn. He was a carpenter.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 31 at Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar. Minister Actavatis Allen officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Deborah Pruitt Dortch; sons, DaMonte Tyrell Dortch (Destiny) of Holly Springs, Orlando Craig Dortch Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Teresa Whiting of Southaven, Tabatha Jones of Memphis, Evette Hughes of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Robert Dodds (Gloria) of Richardson, Texas, Gregory Dortch (Terry), Rickey Dortch (Karen), both of Chicago, Derrick Dortch (Lillie) of Ripley, and Danny Jones of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Aquila Dortch; parents, Lardie Lee Dortch and Cleveland Jones Jr.; siblings, Linda Carol Allen, Brenda Kay Dortch, Reggie Dortch and Earnest Lee Dortch.
