Ollie Davis

Ollie Davis, 83, of Byhalia, died Jan. 18, 2021, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. He was a member of Mt. Sinai MB Church in Byhalia where he was in the choir and served as an usher. He was a retired construction foreman.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 24 from 3-5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Jan. 25 at Mt. Sinai MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Paul Harden Sr. will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Corrine Fitts Davis; four sons, Maurice Davis of Austin, Texas, Willie E. Davis of Byhalia, Lee Chester Davis of Southaven, Jerry Newsom of Coldwater; seven daughters, Alma J. Davis, Rhonda Falkner, both of Byhalia, Elizabeth Jones Stevenson of Holly Springs, Cynthia Crutcher of Seguin, Texas, Cherie Franklin of San Marcus, Texas, Desiree Davis, Cassandra Davis, both of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Earnestine Brookins, Muzette Davis, both of Memphis, May Jenkins of Byhalia; three brothers, Lee Ester Davis, Marvin Louis Davis, Sammie Davis, all of Byhalia; 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by brothers, Rochester Davis, Percy L. Davis and Oscar Lee Davis.
