Olivia Ray Smith

Olivia Ray Smith, 92, of Holly Springs, gained her wings on September 8, 2021, at her home. She was born on September 19, 1928, to Grover Cleveland Floyd and Maggie Martin Floyd in Macedonia, Miss.

Olivia loved her family more than anything, and she prayed for them daily to uphold a Christian standard. Her lifelong goal was to see her family saved, and she began every day with a scripture of praise. If we could leave a piece of her legacy with you, it would be to proclaim the Lord as your Savior.

Olivia is survived by one son, Dennis Quillian; and a daughter, Denise Quillian, both of Holly Springs. She also leaves five grandchildren, Paton Quillian, Lori Gray, Lance LeMay, Megan Whitten and Carrie Quillian; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Olivia was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, G C Floyd, Robert Henry Floyd; and a sister, Margaret Harden.

Services for Olivia Smith were held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. at Heritage Apostolic Church in Holly Springs. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Payton Quillian, Lance LeMay, Steven Whitten, Landon LeMay, Jacob Brown, and Scott Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Dulaney, Tom Young and Emmett Jarrot.
