Odell Wilson

Odell Wilson was born April 17, 1931, in Marshall County, MS. He passed away Dec. 7, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harvey Wilson and Laura Rena Skelton Wilson; brothers, RE, Walter, Clarence, Jack, JC and Robert; sisters, Susie, Opal, Robbie, Viola, Dorothy Jean, Beatrice and Virginia.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dimples Creasie Wilson; his daughter, Janet Y. Wilson(Deborah Franklin); and sister, Billie and twin brother, Rudell.

He continued to work most of his life, most recently the past 26 years at Iron Crafters in Ashland, MS, even until this spring. He stopped due to COVID-19 exposure concerns. He loved cutting his grass on his John Deere mower, driving his Ford tractor and Ford truck. He never met a stranger, always enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and daughter. He also loved watching his New York Yankees. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be planned at a later time due to an immediate family member illness.
