Odell Vernon Allen, 85, of Potts Camp, died Sept. 20, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Potts Camp.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Potts Camp Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Annie; daughter, Deborah (Garland) of Potts Camp; sons, Bobby (Donna) of Oakland, Tenn., Terry (Kerrye) of Germantown, Tenn.; a sister, Katie Taylor (Frank) of Olive Branch; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Opal Skelton and Clara Thompson; brothers, Clarence Allen, Walter Allen, Rudell Allen and James Lee "Buck" Morgan.
