Nettie Mae Howell

Nettie Mae Howell, 71, of Holly Springs, died December 8, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany. She was a member of Calvin Chapel UM Church where she served as a church usher and treasurer. She worked in the food service at Holly Springs School District.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 12 from 3-5 p.m. and on Dec. 13 at Calvin Chapel UM Church from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Zachery Beasley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her daughters, Tameshia Howell of Holly Springs, Tanetta Howell of Long Beach; sisters, Alice Wilkins of Holly Springs, Linda Brown of Oxford, Jenny Jones of Southaven, Barbara Dyers of Memphis, Tenn., Brenda Morrison of Bell Camp, Md.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lamb.
