Nellie Kate Permenter

Nellie Kate Permenter, 77, of Holly Springs, and a native of Nanih Waiya, died May 19, 2019, at Magnolia Hospital in Corinth. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University and worked on the executive staff at ICS Head Start until she retired. She was a member of many animal advocacy organizations.

She leaves one brother, Thomas "Buddy" Permenter (Robbie); six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Bailey.
