Natha Bogard Scruggs

Natha Bogard Scruggs, 75, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Marshall County, died May 20, 2020, at her home. The widow of Allen Scruggs, she was a member of Powell Chapel MB Church where she served as usher, choir member and Sunday School teacher. She was a former customer service representative at WalMart.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 27 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on May 28 at Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Dr. Gina Stewart will officiate.

She leaves three children, Artravis Scruggs of Memphis, La- Tonia Scruggs Rodgers of Holly Springs, Chasity Scruggs of Memphis; a sister, Gertha LeSueur of Holly Springs; two brothers, Douglas Bogard of Michigan City, Rev. L.G. Bogard of Holly Springs; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
