Myles Emonz Jimmerson

Myles Emonz Jimmerson, 19, of Olive Branch, formerly of Ashland, died May 1, 2018, in Byhalia. He was a member of Coleman Church of Christ in Memphis, Tenn., a 2016 graduate of Ashland High School, where he played on the 2016 state championship basketball team. He was employed at FedEx.

Services were held at 3:30 p.m. on May 5 in the Ashland High School gym, with burial in Samuel Chapel MB Church Cemetery in Ashland. Minister Tony DeBerry officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his mother, Cortina Evans Baird and his stepfather, Marvin N. Baird, of Olive Branch; two sisters, Alexia Evans, Macy Jimmerson, both of Olive Branch; his grandparents, Brenda and Mac Arthur Evans of Collierville, Tenn., Marjorie and Marvin Jimmerson of Michigan City; and his great-grandmother, Chessie Jimmerson of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcellus E. Jimmerson.
