Murwill Hampton, 58, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died August 18, 2025, at his home. He was employed at WalMart.
Graveside services were held at Sandhill MB Church Cemetery on Aug. 30 at 9 a.m. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his siblings, Pearlie Mae Hampton of Memphis, Mary Bean of Lamar, John Hampton (Loise) of Grand Junction, Tenn., Mary McGhee of Moscow, Tenn., Ida Woodley of Olive Branch, and Martha Hampton of Horn Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elnora Hampton and Curley Hampton; sisters, Josephine Marshall and Bernice McGhee.
