Montra Derell Bailey

Montra Derell “Trey” Bailey, 25, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died Oct. 6, 2017, in an auto accident in Holly Springs. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar, attended Rust College and was a music artist. He was a former laborer at a soap factory in Olive Branch.

Visitation will be Oct. 13 from 2-7 p.m. and with the family from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Oct. 14 from 10-10-55 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 14 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministry with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Dr. Patrick Washington will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Chassity Ma’Kira Bailey of Holly Springs; his mother, Dorothy M. Bailey Everett of Memphis; his father, Clevin F. Hannah of Holly Springs; his stepfather, Melvin Everett of Memphis; four sisters, Derika Bailey, Deidrea Bailey, Karmesia Bailey, Cedra Hannah, all of Memphis; a brother, Melvin Everett Jr. of Washington, D.C.; grandmothers, Delores Bailey, Cheryl Brittenum Brannon, both of Holly Springs; his grandfather, James Bailey of Chicago, Ill., and a great-grandmother, Rose Reynolds of Markham, Ill.
