Mitzie Evon Glover

Mitzie Evon Glover, 52, died Feb. 4, 2019, at Germantown Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Maranatha Faith Temple, P.A.W., in Memphis.

Visitation will be held on Feb. 15 from 5-7 p.m. at Gillespie Funeral Home, Olive Branch; and from 11 a.m. until services at 12 p.m. at Mt. Zion Taska MB Church, Byhalia.

She leaves six children, Marcus A. Sykes (Shaquell) of Miami, Fla., Courtney C. Gatewood of Memphis, Michael L. Glover of Memphis, De'Undre Glover of Harden, Tenn., Jarvis J. Glover of Memphis, and Marcianna Glover of Atlanta, Ga; four brothers, Terry Bynum of McKinney, Texas, Thomas R. Sykes Jr. of Seattle, Wash., Maurice Sykes (Toni) of Byhalia, Christopher Sykes of Memphis; four sisters, Marilyn Dowdy of Holly Springs, Ragan Rodriquez (Michael) of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Simone Hunter of Kentucky, Melanie Sykes of Memphis; her step-mother, June Sykes; four step-children, Justin Green, Aisha Lewis, Jacavia Smith, Jacarien; and 13 grandchildren.
