Mitchell "Say It Ain't So" Wilson

Mitchell "Say It Ain't So" Wilson, 56, of Holly Springs, died September 27, 2025, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn. He attended Isom Chapel CME Church and was a truck driver at White Construction of Byhalia.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Oct. 3 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. and on Oct. 4 at Isom Chapel CME Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Michael Adams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Acron Hicks Wilson; mother, Clemmie Marshall Wilson of Holly Springs; daughters, Keanna Wilson of Michigan City, Cedrisha Render of Holly Springs; sons, Mitchell Wilson Jr. of Slayden, Lazarius Render of New Albany; sisters, Joann Legins, Cassandra Howell, Ulandus Howell, Christy Whitely, all of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Lee Andrew Seldon of Mt. Pleasant; and six grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Sammie "Little Duke" Howell.
