Minnie Lou Falkner Harris

Minnie Lou Falkner Harris, 87, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Holly Springs, died June 15, 2025, at Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Chicago. She was a member of Smith Grove MB Church and a housewife.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 27 from 3-6 p.m. and on June 28 at Smith Grove MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Roger Powell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Thelma Wilson of Austin, Texas, Hazel Lee of Chicago; sons, Larry Falkner of Chicago, Wendell Falkner of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Ellen Smith, Moristine Vaughn both of Holly Springs; brother, Frank Falkner Jr. of Norwalk, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Patterson; siblings, Eddie Falkner, James Morris Falkner, Baulia Jeffries, Celestine Falkner and Magnolia Smith.
