Minister Robert Griggs Jr.

Minister Robert Griggs Jr., 80, of Moscow, Tenn., died July 16, 2020, at Methodist Hospital of Germantown in Germantown, Tenn.. The widower of Cora Jean Williams Griggs, he was a member of Faith Fellowship Church of God In Christ in Slayden where he served as chairman of offering committee and associate minister. He was a retired custodian with Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home July 23 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on July 24 at Faith Fellowship Church of God in Christ Cemetery. Pastor Christopher Griggs will officiate.

He leaves a sister, Ruthie Griggs Bailey of Moscow; three brothers, Hurrie Lee Griggs, J.K. Griggs, and Johnathan Griggs, all of Memphis, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Mary Griggs Allen, Pauline Griggs Anderson; and two brothers, Willie Herman Griggs and Cullen Griggs.
