Michael James Wagg
Michael James Wagg, 60, died at his home in Germantown, Tenn., on October 31, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1965 to Douglas Wagg, Sr and Shirley Cremeens Wagg, at Chanute Air Force base in Rantoul, Ill. He worked for PepsiCo in Springdale, Ark., for many years and retired this year from Lowe's as a delivery driver in Collierville, Tenn. He leaves his mother Shirley Chamberlain of Germantown, Tenn.; his stepmother, Janice Wagg of Byhalia, Miss.; daughters, Jessica Saltsman (Jay) of Corinth, NY, Amber Wagg of Corinth, NY, Marisa Wagg of Middle Grove, NY, and Savannah Kirkland (Ty) of Fayetteville, Ark.; sisters, Angel McIntrye (Scott) of Nashville, Ind.; Melissa Leigh of Fishers, Ind., and Jessica Walls of Cordova, Tenn; step-sisters, Ellen Gherke (Matt) of Springfield, Ga., Emily Herring (Philip) of Olive Branch, Miss.; and step-brothe,r Manning Shackelford (Sammie) of Byhalia Miss; grandchildren, Logan, Railyn, Parker, Shyloh, and Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Wagg Sr.; his brother, Douglas Wagg Jr.; his stepfather, Harold Chamberlain; and his grandparents.
Mike loved his family deeply and will be missed. Since he was a young boy, his favorite thing to do was fish and he was blessed with a great sense of humor. He loved animals and adored his cat Baby who he spoiled rotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12 p.m. at The White House located at Waypoint Baptist Church, 5586 Stage Road, Bartlett, Tenn. All who knew him are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories.
