Melvin Lee Moore

Melvin Lee Moore, 50, of Holly Springs, died April 6, 2021, at Alliance Healthcare System in Holly Springs. He was a member of Isom Chapel CME Church and was a machine operator at Meadows Construction in Byhalia.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 15 from 2-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on April 16 at Pleasant Grove MB Church Cemetery in Red Banks. Rev. Michael Adams will officiate.

He leaves two sons, Aaron Ashley, Kendrick Jones, both of Holly Springs; three daughters, Laquita Ashley, Marquisa Ashley, Melanikka Moore, all of Holly Springs; three stepchildren, Cameron Washington, Jaden Shelton, McKenzie Washington, all of Holly Springs; mother, Shirley Hughes of Holly Springs; father, Melvin Lee Watson of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, LaGretta Moore, Zondra Neely, both of Holly Springs, Tan Johnson of Olive Branch; four brothers, Dwan Watson of Memphis, Marco Hughes, Jessie Hughes, both of Holly Springs, Lemond Moore of Olive Branch; 14 grandchildren; and a fiancée, Monique Washington of Holly Springs.
