Melvin Eugene Luellen

Melvin Eugene Luellen, 58, of Lamar, died Feb. 22, 2021, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Kimbrough Chapel Church.

Graveside services were held at 12 noon on March 6 at Kimbrough Chapel Church Cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Maxine Boone of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Doris Jones (Robert) of Lamar, Ernestine Luellen of Holly Springs; four brothers, Joe Luellen (Arlean), Lonnie Luellen (Audrey), both of Holly Springs, Johnnie Luellen (Regina), and Richard Luellen (Lora), both of Memphis, Tenn.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Robert and Frenchie Luellen; three sisters, Verlene Sims, Rose Prescott, Maxine Gipson; three brothers, Ronnie Luellen, Emmitt Luellen and Frank Luellen.
