Melvin DuRelle “Buddy” Brown Jr.

Melvin DuRelle “Buddy” Brown Jr., 18, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 25, 2016. He was a student at Holly Springs High School.

Services were held at 12 noon on Nov. 5 at Berachah Ministries Church in Red Banks. Burial was in the church cemetery.  Elder Curtis Pritchard, pastor, and Rev. Ladaryl Odum officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his mother, Sandra Bady of Holly Springs; his father, Melvin Brown Sr. of Midland, Texas; three sisters, DeKeshia Smith (Michael) of Memphis, Tenn., Jenique Denis Gulledge of Holly Springs and Melnaysa Brown of Midland; three brothers, Kevin Bady (Brittany), Devon Bady (Casandra) DeCedric Bady, all of Holly Springs; his grandmother, Lillie M. Brown of Byhalia and his grandfather, Bobby Lee Smith of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Louvina Jean Smith and his grandfather, Norvin Brown.
