Melroy Humphery

Melroy Humphery, 78, of Holly Springs, died July 16, 2024, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was a member of Free Springs CME Church in Harmontown, employed as a logger and a non-emergency driver with Marshall County Road and Bridge Department.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on July 26 from 3-6 p.m. with services on July 27 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.

He leaves his sons, Jerroy Stewart (Emmer) of Atlanta, Ga., Leeroy McAdams (Erica), David McAdams, both of Holly Springs; daughters, Debbie Lozano-White (Rodney) of Horn Lake, Patricia Stewart (Gaylyn) of Yorkville, Ill., Lacittia Humphery of Waterford, Rosezettia Humphery of Byhalia, Carolyn McAdams of Holly Springs; brothers, Dannie Moering, Ralph Moering, both of Holly Springs, Willie Moering (Bernice) of Oxford; sisters, Delois Calicutt of Holly Springs, Elizabeth Martin of Waterford, Charlotte Moering Marable (Henry) of Birmingham, Ala.; 32 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Phillips; brother, William Moering; sister, Bertha Jackson; and one granddaughter, Jasmine Humphery.
