Meldivours “Mel”Davis

Meldivours “Mel” Davis, 66, of Ashland, died July 19, 2023, at Applingwood Health and Rehab Center in Cordova, Tenn. He was a member of Shiloh MB Church and retired from Biltrite of Ripley.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 26 from 12-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on July 27 at Shiloh MB Church Cemetery in Ashland. Rev. Rodney Washington will officiate.

He leaves his children, Jennifer LeSure, Anthony LeSure, both of Tupelo; sisters, Mae Lois Davis, Earnestine Eason, both of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Kerry Felix Davis, John Edward Davis, both of Ashland, Larry Lewis Davis of West Memphis, Ark., and Tyrone Davis of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina LeSure; siblings, Dorothy Jean Davis, Darlean Davis and Jimmie Dale Davis.
