Melba Darlene Mays, 66, of Coldwater, died Jan. 29, 2017, in Oxford. The widow of Henry Lee Mays, she was a member of Generation Church Ministry in Sardis.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5, at Mt. Olive MB Church in Byhalia. Burial was in Hopewell Church Cemetery in Coldwater.
She leaves three daughters, Janet Dean, Dorothea Dean, both of Coldwater, Melinda Ann McClarty of Byhalia; three sons, Henry Louis Mays of Seattle, Wash., Jessie Mays, Mareon Mays, both of Coldwater; three sisters, JoAnn Bolton of Coldwater, Cathelean Brown of Sandusky, Ohio, Pamela Bridges of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Wesley Bolton of Senatobia, Eric Bolton of Memphis; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
