Maxine Warren McJimpson

Maxine Warren McJimpson, 80, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Byhalia, died Jan. 31, 2018, at City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles. A Catholic, she was a registered nurse and worked at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, along with other hospitals in California.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Warren Family Cemetery in Byhalia.  Bro. Curtis Talley officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two sons, Luke McJimpson III, Marcus McJimpson, both of Los Angeles; five sisters, Celestine Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio, Lena Nobumoto, Velma Spencer, both of Las Vegas, Nev., Elaine Powers of Los Angeles, Carmella Warren of Los Vegas; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Warren, Lurline Warren, Minnie Johnson, Freddie Muse; and a brother, Alvin Warren Jr.
