Mavis Jernell Robinson

Mavis Jernell Robinson, 37, of Irving and formerly of Holly Springs, Miss., died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at her home.

She was an accountant at Wells Fargo in Dallas, a member of Antioch Fellowship Church, and the National Association of Black Accountants.

Services will be held at noon Sunday, Oct. 25, at Hopewell No. 2 M.B. Church, 249 Highway 313, with the Rev. Danny Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. At J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, 125 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, and Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 to 11:55 a.m. At Hopewell No. 2 M.B. Church.

She leaves her mother, Mable J. Riddle Robinson of Holly Springs; her father, Tom Robinson Jr. of Holly Springs; two sisters, Tomea Robinson of Holly Springs and Cecilia Robinson of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; and her maternal grandparents, Hubert Riddle Sr. and Irene Riddle, both of Holly Springs.
