Maurice "Scutter" Craine

Maurice "Scutter" Craine, 68, of Byhalia, died March 20, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Liberty Hill MB Church and a retired bus driver for the Marshall County School System.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 29 from 3-6 p.m. and on March 30 at Liberty Hill MB Church from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Calvin Rayborn, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his sisters, Eliza Craine, Annie Craine Milan, Deborah R. Craine, all of Byhalia; brothers, Eyrice Craine, Jasper Craine, Edward Craine, all of Byhalia; care giver and niece, Coretta Craine of Byhalia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Agripper and Annie Glass Craine; siblings, Mary Craine Wilson, Wesley Craine and Inez Craine.
