Mattie Mae Orange Ford

Mattie Mae Orange Ford, 85, of Sikeston, Mo., formerly of Oxford, died April 16, 2025, at her home in Sikeston. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ and a retired school teacher.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on April 23 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Rev. Actavatis Allen officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughter, Jacqui A. Delbert of Savannah, Ga.; son, Chico Ford of Minneapolis, Minn.; stepson, Tim Johnson of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Dianne Isom, Mary Dockery, both of Oxford, Martha Greene of Walls; brothers, Henry Orange Jr., Ira James Orange, both of Oxford; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Frank Ford Jr.; son, Franco Ford; and brother, Robert Orange.
