Mary Walker Burns Walls

Mary Walker Burns Walls, 93, of Holly Springs, died August 10, 2019, at her home in Benton County. The widow of Sherman Walls Jr., she was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar, a member of Order of Eastern Star, member of the church's Mother Board, and the Usher Board. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held on August 16 from 2-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and August 17, from 10-10:55 a.m. at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Patrick Washington will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood MB Church Cemetery in Lamar.

She leaves six daughters, Rosie Walls of Ashland, Callie Walls of Newport News, Va., Shirley Terry of Chicago, Ill., Bertha Walls, Diane Reese and Mildred Daugherty, all of Ashland; four sons, Charlie Walls, Willie Walls, Rickey Walls, Richard Walls, all of Holly Springs; 59 grandchildren, 85 greatgrandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Laura D. Walls and Boretah Walls; and two sons, Mack Walls and Dallas Walls.
