Mary Lee Sanderson Pool

Mary Lee Sanderson Pool, 76, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Holly Springs, died Dec. 7, 2017, at her home in Chicago. She was a member of St. Mark MB Church in Harvey, Ill., and later joined Greater Harvest MB Church. She was an employee of Sweetheart Cup Corp. for 36 years.

Graveside services were held at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Chulahoma MB Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Charles L. Pool; daughters, Bertha Pool, Anita Pool-Genes, both of Chicago, Franzia Granberry of Apple Valley, Minn.; her mother, Colia Sanderson of  Holly Springs; five sisters, Lorean Richmond, Shirley Sanderson, both  of Kansas City, Kansas, Annie Harris, Beulah Hamilton, Ruthie Johnson, all of Holly Springs; a brother, Robert Sanderson of Holly Springs; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sweolia Sanderson and five brothers, Roy, Charlie Jr., Addison, Henry and Jerry Sanderson.
