Mary Lee Holloway Lawrence

Mary Lee Holloway Lawrence, 82, of Holly Springs, died June 14, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Thus Saith The Lord Baptist Church, a former member of Strawberry MB Church, and retired from H.W. Byers High School in the food service department.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 22 from 3-6 p.m. and on June 23 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 10--10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. J.W. Smith Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her daughters, Stella Cornelious, Sharon Stephenson, both of Holly Springs; sons, John Lewis Lawrence of Horn Lake, Russell Lawrence, Albert Lawrence, Antonio Lawrence, all of Holly Springs, Matthew Lawrence of Broken Arrow, Okla.; sister, Mae Ella Lawrence of Holly Springs; brothers, Oscar Holloway, Donnell Holloway, both of Holly Springs, Johnny Ricky Holloway of Olive Branch; 36 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lawrence; children, Dewey Lawrence, Betty Joe Pegues; siblings, Nettie Mae Wiseman, Magnolia Dowdy, Nannie Miller, Louis Holloway and George Edward Holloway.
